Description: Well, my own personal drawing of this MechaG isn't quite finished yet, but imagine him with the design basics of Kiryu, smoothed over, and not as many weapon hardpoints. And also a very lackluster gunmetal color, almost no shine to it whatsoever.
Combat Style: This incarnation of Mecha Godzilla is not built to be a combat unit per se; it's an observational mecha. However, it is designed to be as robust and as tenacious as the monsters it observes, and it's not completely unarmed. The pilot and copilot AI tend to use the advanced sensory equipment of MechaG to perform quick studies of it's opponent to calculate the best way to trounce it, all the while staying on the defensive with it's force screens. When pressed, it is actually a capable melee fighter, and knows how to use what little ranged weaponry it has to intelligent effect.
Weaknesses: Can suffer mechanical failure if put under too much stress, for whatever reason, be it combat or mishandling power flow. Can be rendered completely combat ineffective if too much power is lost.
Special Attacks and Attributes:
Made of Metal: MechaG is made of the most cutting edge alloys, both in his super structure and his external plates. (+5 to Defense)
Weapons:
Twin Cutting Lasers mounted in the eyes. Though not built explicity for combat, they can be used as powerfull short range weapons. Can't be fired for more than a few seconds, and require a cooling period of several moments. (+2 to special, can't be used repeatedly)
Plasma Cannon located in the mouth. Can be fired as either a single beam or a short range burst. The only truly offensive weapon MechaG is equipped with.
Telescoping arm blades, which lend a potent melee edge. Can be supercharged with energy particles. (when charged, use Special stat instead of Attack stat)
Multilayer Shielding- The forcefields of the MechaG are it's crowning acievement in addition, next to it's advanced sensors. MechaG's shielding comes in three layers: field, shield, and point. It's force field, which helps deflect incoming energy projectiles, and extends a small distance away from it's body; It's force shielding, which is a point blank screen that envelopes its body and helps defend against physical attack; and it's emergency point-defense shielding, a small shield disc that can be positioned over any part of it's body. This layer of shielding is only activated when it's other shields are down, and is not as effective as the full shield array. (Substitute Special stat for Defense stat. If shields are down, reverts to Defense stat, and can only use Special stat when taking a total defensive action)
Active Scanning- MechaG's scanners are some of the most advanced on the planet, and are specifically tuned to studying giant monsters. Even monsters with unusual powers are no match for it's magificant sensor arrays, as the mecha can scan the various wavelengths and frequencies of his foe's powers and adjust his equipment accordingly. (Can negate the forcefield-type powers of enemies after 3 to 5 turns; If denied any of it's Special stat, regains it's full power after 3 to 5 turns)
